The
Opera studio enables the young singers to accumulate
a varied operatic repertoire, so that by the time
they complete their studies at the School, they will
have experienced performing in a range of various
operatic roles.

Cesare" by Handel, "Orfeo" by Glück, "Carmen" by
Bizet," Saul and David" by Nielsen, "The Medium" by
Menotti," Hänsel und Gretel" by Humperdinck, and
"Ariadne auf Naxos" and "Der Rosenkavalier" by
R. Strauss.
The
Opera Studio is directed by Prof. Tamar Rachum, the
head of the Vocal department of the School of Music.
