students and enable them to gain valuable experience
in this field.
The
Arianne Katcz
Piano Competition
Founded in 1986
thanks to the generous donation of Mr. George Katcz,
a resident of Vienna. The competition is named after
his late sister who passed away before her time. The
competition is held annually and is open to students
of the school only.
Clairmont
grants (violin, piano)
The competitions
were founded in the early 80s thanks to the generous
donation of Maurice Clairmont from Switzerland. In
the early days, competitions were held in piano,
violin, cello and composition. Today, the
competitions include piano and violin. The
competitions are nationwide and open to musicians
recommended by the Israel-America Culture Fund.
