המחקר עוסק בשלושה תחומים עיקריים: מחקרים באמצעות שיטות בדיקה היסטופתולוגיות בנושאים שונים ברפואת העיניים, תחום הפתולוגיה העינית ותחום ניתוחי האוקולופלסטיקה.

1. טיפולים נוירופרוטקטיביים בפגיעות לייזר ברשתית במודל חולדה.

2. ההשפעה של טיפולים שונים על קצב הריפוי של ארוזיות בקרנית במודל חיה.

3. בדיקות ותיאורים  פתולוגיים של העין.

4. פיתוח והערכת שיטות ניתוח בתחום האוקולופלסטיקה.
