תחום המחקר שלי הוא התפתחות קריירה, ובו אני מתמקדת במקומם של תפקידי העבודה והמשפחה בתהליכי הבניית הזהות בשלבי חיים שונים. יש לי עניין מחקרי רב במשמעותם וחשיבותם של העבודה והמשפחה עבור אנשים מקבוצות חברתיות שונות, ובאופן בו משמעויות אלה קשורות עם תוכניות העתיד שלהם. אוכלוסיית המבוגרים הצעירים נמצאת במוקד מחקריי בשנים האחרונות, מתוך אמונה כי טיוב תהליכי ההתפתחות של קבוצה זו באמצעות תוכניות חינוכיות לקריירה עשויה לאפשר להם ליצור תמונת חיים משמעותית ומספקת. חברה שצעיריה עסוקים במימוש תוכניות אישיות משמעותיות עשויה להיות חברה טובה יותר לחיים בה ובעלת הישגים אנושיים מרשימים.
