מיקרו וננו-אלקטרוניקה. חקר התקני מוליכים-למחצה. תכנון ופיתוח טכנולוגיות למימוש מעגלים משולבים בקנה מידה גדול (ULSI & VLSI). מחקר בנושאים הקשורים לחיבורי ביניים  (Interconnects) של מעגלים משולבים. חקר שיטות אלקטרוכימיות לשיקוע ננו-מוליכים למעגלים משולבים ולמעגלים מיקרואלקטרומכניים

Copper technology (metals and dielectrics) for ULSI; inspection of sub-half-micron interconnect systems (electrical, optical, X-ray and others);
