About the Lecturer

Saar Golan received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion for his research in the field of particle electro-kinetics. He thereafter spent five years at the Weizmann Institute as a postdoctoral research staff member at the Department of Biological Chemistry. For his work there, Saar received the Eshkol postdoctoral fellowship. Saar is a reviewer of several international journals and an advisor to leading high-tech and start-up companies. His current research interests are early embryonic development and the bio-mechanics of Nitinol (shape memory alloy) structures.
