Even simpler?
Behind the curve is one thing, being very behind the curve another (yes,
I've admitted to this in the past as well). There's also
something to be said for being against the curve
as well. Numerous people have tried to explain to me that sticking to plain old
HTML makes life more difficult for me than it should be. If I'd prepare the Boidem
columns as items in a database I'd have a much easier time posting and updating
them.
Disregarding the fact that simply preparing such a database would be much more
time consuming than simply continuing as I have in the past, this comment misses
much of the point. One of the qualities of HTML that for me defines its simplicity
is the fact that a page is pretty much self-contained. It doesn't have to call
up any complicated code, any complex procedures. It's simply there. Why would
I want to forego that?
