Talk:Trigonometric function
From Knowino
This article (minus the figures) comes straight from Wikipedia, shouldn't we give credit to WP instead of CZ? --Paul Wormer 04:11, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- Indeed. Now I understand why some pictures are absent. Maybe I should not copy it here. Or just delete it? --Boris Tsirelson 09:35, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- This touches on a general question: do we want WP material? If we do, pictures are easy, we can get them from Wikimedia. What does Thomas think?--Paul Wormer 11:04, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- A possible general answer: if and only if some reviewer plans to upgrade it to "accurate" in the near future. --Boris Tsirelson 16:19, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- It would probably be preferable to copy this article from WP instead from CZ before it is reviewed. The advantage: more drawings and more references. If I were to work on this article I would discard all the overlap with the separate trig functions; to my taste links to separate articles suffice (and offer better maintainability and better overview). Do we want a special template "fromWP"?--Paul Wormer 05:35, 15 June 2011 (EDT)
- We have Template:Wiki, used in Roguelike.
- Yes, do so if you like. --Boris Tsirelson 06:27, 15 June 2011 (EDT)
