| This computed tomographic (CT) scan with contrast of the abdomen reveals a pancreatic adenocarcinoma involving the head and body of the pancreas. This mass also infiltrates into the hilum of the liver. Pancreatic adenocarcinomas are rarely discovered early, so the prognosis is usually poor. |
