Masterclass | Deleuze and Method
Ian Buchanan, Cardiff University
This masterclass will provide a general introduction to Deleuze and Guattari's work via close readings of the first two chapters of Anti-Oedipus as well as selections from A Thousand Plateaus. The twofold aim of the masterclass is to provide students with a sound understanding of Deleuze and Guattari's methodology and to raise questions about how that methodology might be applied to the analysis of literary and other creative works. Please read the first two chapters of Anti-Oedipus beforehand, and bring copies of them with you. You can also find them attached below.
