Bring these, the wretched web pages?
No, we're not going to try and expand on that metaphor. Enough has already
been written about the fact that the web is virtually (no pun intended)
inundated with wretched pages. It is significant, however, that it was
on this day, in 1886, that the Statue
of Liberty was dedicated in New York Harbor. A great deal of information
is available on the web about the statue, but the sort of information that
might be along the lines of what gets dealt with in the Boidem - let's
say information on the development of the statue
as a symbol in the eyes of the American public, seems much more difficult
to find.
