Not just for internet addiction.

Online therapy seems to be a booming phenomenon. Perhaps it stems from the same roots as drive-in churches - busy people still want their needs tended to, as long as it's done quickly. Is therapy the sort of activity that can tolerate an on-the-go lifestyle? Online therapy certainly suggests an unintrusive approach to giving aid:

I'm sending you my opinion via e-mail. I think you suffer from being too busy. Please take a look at my comments when you have the time.
I'm not sure much can come of this, but it isn't my field, so I'll withhold judgment. Still, it definitely seems to be receiving more and more research. One basic overview: Therapy over the Internet? Theory, Research and Finances has an extensive bibliography, with numerous web references, that suggests that people are definitely taking this field seriously.

Of course if all you really want is to have your web addiction attended to, counseling just for that is available as well.
