... that this was part of the original game plan?
A Google search on "everything
is relative" brings up over 250,000 hits. I clicked on only a miniscule percentage
of those hits. They did bring me, however, to a very wide variety of pages.
One
of the first of these was a pleasant, and surprisingly rather serious, page on
Everything2 with the title: Everything
is relative, but some things are more relative than others. Others used the
phrase as the title of a blog entry - on any one of a wide variety of subjects
ranging from (well, I guess we expected this) physics, to economics, to sports,
and religion. I'm not sure why the phrase showed up as the title of a geocaching
game, but because it did I was able to learn that geocaching:
is a treasure hunting game where you use a GPS to hide and seek containers with
other participants in the activity.
One of the more enticing
items I stumbled across was a ten year old paper titled Everything
is Relative: Family and Gender Relationships in The Godfather, Part II submitted
to a film criticism class.
And people still wonder whether this sort of
thing can be fun?
Go to: Yeah, sure!, or
Go to: Having
fun
