Nobody does that anymore.
Perhaps there's a certain amount of status connected to having web pages that
look as though they were designed ten years ago (and even actually were). Without
a doubt, sites like this can look outdated. After all, they are. But that doesn't
mean that they look wrong. Wrong, or bad, looking web pages are usually identifiable
by their excess, by their exaggerated usage of timely elements. Few web pages
are purposefully designed to appear retro - they've simply survived beyond the
lifetime of other sites like them.
Which suggests that although yesterday's cool site may today be passe, it doesn't
become a candidate for worst of the web.
