HIGH-VISCOSITY MOTION
Consider two long cylinders kept parallel at fixed distance from
each other and rotated by built-in motors in opposite directions,
as shown in the figure. The system is immersed in a very viscous
liquid. Find the relation between the parameters of the system and
the velocity of its propulsion.
(Neglect gravity. Assume low Reynolds number. Solve a two-dimensional
problem. Assume that the cylinders are extremely long, and disregard
the influence of contraption that holds them together.)
