Research Field: My research focuses on two aspects of splicing regulation: (1) Identifying regulatory sequences and their effect on splicing, in the intronic surroundings of exons; using a duel fluorescent reporting system. (2) Better understanding the role of nucleosome occupancy of the chromatin structure in regards to mRNA splicing.
