TAU SPORTS COMPLEX

More than 25,000 people enjoy the facilities and classes at the TAU Sports Complex weekly. The administration, management and operation of the complex is divided between the following three bodies: The Unit for Sports and Physical Education, the Sports, Culture and Recreation Club, and the Elite Sports Center Ltd

The Unit for Sports and Physical Education: First year students at the university are required to participate in physical education classes with the aim of teaching students the importance of physical activity and encouraging them to engage in fitness and exercise on a long-term basis.

The Sports, Culture and Recreation Club: A non-profit subsidiary of TAU, this unit offers a vast array of recreational sports, classes, lectures and services to members as well as summer and school vacation day camps, workshops, etc.

The Elite Sports Center Ltd.: This company is responsible for the general building, development, maintenance and daily operation of the range of facilities including swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, sports fields and other fitness and recreational facilities.
