| There is a solitary metastasis in the superior left parietal lobe peripherally in the region of the grey-white matter junction which is bright on this CT scan of the head. In a middle aged to older adult, a solitary metastasis must be distinguished from a primary glioma. The most common sites for primary neoplasms metastatic to brain include lung, breast, and kidney. |
