| This rare neoplasm is a myxoma. Myxomas may appear in soft tissues, as seen here in the quadriceps muscle of the thigh that has been sectioned to reveal the white, glistening gross appearance. Though technically benign, this and other low grade soft tissue neoplasms may recur if not completely excised. |
