This is the gross appearance of the normal fetal liver near term. The liver is the largest organ in the abdomen and chest. Note the gallbladder, ductus venosus, stomach, pancreas, spleen, accessory spleen, mesentery (from which the jejunum and ileum have been removed), and duodenum.
