it digitally becomes the easiest way.
February 2001 was the month that the U.S. courts ruled against Napster.
Ultimately it was a rather predictable decision, even if it displayed a
rather gross misunderstanding of the extent to which the internet has become
an integral part of our lives. In the short run it's probably enforceable.
In the long run, I've got great doubts. Those doubts became a convinction
as a result of a brief Napster related encounter
that took place very shortly before the courts delivered their decision.
