It's a topic for a future Boidem column, but not for this concerted effort to bring this overview to a close. Still, a couple of sentences can't hurt.
I still think of myself as an avid reader, but in keeping with Jakob
Nielsen's comment that people don't read on the web, perhaps I should find
some other word to describe myself. After all, the vast majority of my
reading is of web pages, or of printed out web pages when there's something
that I want to sit down with quietly. I suppose that over the past two
years I've read about six or seven books for my own personal pleasure,
and hopefully, once this project is out of the way, I'll be able to devote
some time to catching up on the ever-lengthening list of books that I'd
like to read.
