Approaching the problem from a different angle.

Running a Google search on a group of terms like messy, desk, and clutter brings up quite a number of sites that seek to help pack rats clean up their lives (or at least their desks). I expected that. I wasn't, however, expecting to find a rather large number of Christian sermons on the problem of clutter in our lives. It seems to be a rather popular topic, though my familiarity with Christian theology (or lack of it) precludes me from understanding just why this would be so.

Part of the lure of the web is, of course, the unexpected surprises that await us when we think we know what we're clicking toward but suddenly discover that somebody else has an entire world of associations that stem from the same terms, yet lead in altogether different directions. So I guess that I should be pleased to find those sermons. Even if they're not very serendipitous for me, they still tell me that serendipity is possible.
