Perhaps it's another example of the famous Mikado adage
the
punishment fit the crime. Web sites want hits, so cyber-terrorists gave
them hits - so many that it crashed their servers. The sites in question suffered
precisely from what they dream of having. There is certainly some sort of poetic
justice in that.
