Well, relatively speaking.


How many normal people test themselves with the aid of an online test which they somehow came across somewhere on the web? (Yes, they certainly could have found it via a search engine or an index, but if they were looking for this information that would probably be a sign that they already thought that they had an internet abuse problem, and thus it's not really clear that they would have needed to take the test before turning for counseling. On the other hand, perhaps what we seek is verification of our normalcy, and the Center, knowing that we seek this, attempts to dispel our fears by letting us take a simple test and discover that we're fine. But Catch 22 is always right there waiting to catch us: If we thought we had to take the test, we're obviously not normal. The bottom line of the test page thus seems to be: If you're reading this, you need help.
