... why shouldn't my sons do the same?
I try to be a good parent: you know, teaching my kids right from wrong,
but also letting them discover things by themselves, exposing them to experiences
that will help them make sense of and understand their world. When we go
to a museum of science and industry Eitan and Nadav know just what to do:
they push on every button in sight and watch to see what happens. And good
parent that I am, I try and stop them and say to them:
Don't just push on the buttons. Let's look at this first
and try and figure out what's supposed to happen. Let's think about what
they want to show us here.
And then I wander off and push on every button in sight.
