Is that supposed to be a compliment?
One of the spectacles we're invited to imagine is that students will

produce the caliber of work that would be accepted in boardrooms around
the world
and of course the question simply begs to be asked:

Is that what defined "high caliber"? Do we see the production of work of
that sort as the goal of our educational system?
Frankly, I think we should set our sights a good deal higher.
