Back in 2006 YouTube was still quite new. One of the more curious videos that I encountered back then, uploaded about half a year before Google purchased YouTube, was Tips on Taking a Shower in which a very well-intentioned middle-aged man shows and explains to us both how to clean a shower stall and the four stages of actually taking a shower (and also how to properly dry with a towel). There's something endearing about the video - our presenter has understood, very early on, that internet video can be a medium for imparting any sort of information, and he's identified an area in which he can be instructive. It's definitely possible that his instructions can be helpful, though I trust that a substantial number of the 25,000 views his video has received over the years watched with a sort of disbelief that he was really teaching us all this.
