Could it actually be the case that rather than my purposefully making life difficult
for these students, they were making it difficult on themselves by refusing to
use their own critical thinking skills? Couldn't they do a bit more excavating
in order to find one of a number of a not particularly heavily camouflaged links
to pages that might tell them more about me? And if they thought that the articles
they found were of merit, did it really matter that they didn't know who had written
them, or what his or her credentials were?
