The elementary school kids in this example (considering the extent to which my files are spread out over boxes of papers, numerous drawers, a cluttered desk, and numerous CDs, my chances of finding the exact reference are negligible) never hid the fact that they were elementary school kids. They simply were never asked. Nor was there really any reason to ask them. Back a decade ago the web served as a great equalizer. To a certain extent that's true today as well, but the equalizing seems to be (Andrew Keen anyone?) toward the lowest common denominator, rather than toward a universal upgrading of capabilities.
