A very recent Israeli television commercial
for an internet service provider has been broadcasted during the writing of this
column. The commercial, offering us the opportunity to hook up all the computers
in the house to the internet, shows two young kids. One seems to be in complete
command of lots of factual trivia, while the other seems to not know anything.
The "know-it-all" kid, however, tells us quite authoritatively that
our solar system has nine planets. Are we to infer from this that the internet
connection in his house is a bit slower than advertised?
