Is that really the right word?
Though I try to trace the development of hypertext to an attempt to imitate
our associative thinking processes, I have to admit that claiming that the web
has a "logical" associative structure may be more than just a bit misleading.
And it's not only because there's little reason to claim that just because it
imitates what may perhaps be our "natural" thinking processes it's also
logical.
So if it's "not just" because of that, what else?
Well, an incorrect adjective sort of suggests that at least the noun is right.
But it may also be out of place. Is it, after all, accurate to claim that the
web really has a "structure"?
