Who cares?

Ehrlich received (and it's probably to fair to write that he also earned) much more than his fifteen minutes of fame. He may have had a meteoric rise, but his star continued to shine for many years. Still, stars have a way of burning out, as seems to be happening to his.

Among the first results of a Google search on Ehrlich we can find a link to a site devoted to The Population Bomb on the Public Broadcasting Service web site. When we click over to it, however, we read:

The "Paul Ehrlich and the Population Bomb" site has been retired from pbs.org.

It was probably a rather interesting site - PBS sites tend to be well done and engaging. But even when topics are interesting, over time people tend to lose interest in them.
