Rivers, as we all know, run to the sea. More often than not it's the streams that flow into the river that's busy collecting strength (and water) on its way to its destination. That being the case, isn't writing about riverlets and streams branching out from a river a case of putting the cart before the horse? And shouldn't that be perfectly permissible in a hypertextual environment?
