The colloquium is held at Melamed Hall (Room 6) in the Shenkar Physics Building, every Sunday at 16:10. Light refreshments are served outside Melamed Hall at 15:50.

Abstract

Among the responsibilities of scientists that I will discuss are:
- training good scientists as a national resource;
- helping societies and governments to understand the implications,
  and shape in beneficial ways the applications, of scientific advances
  for which we are responsible.
