Experimental Study and Dynamic Modeling

of Urban Residential Heterogeneity

Our experimental work is based on the high-resolution geo-referenced data
of 1995 census, provided by the Israeli Central Bereau of Statistics
These data demonstrate essential heterogeneity of
urban residential distribtuion in Israeli cities

Based on experimental observations, we have developed a model of
residential dynamics in which householders differ in their tolerance to the neighbors.

The model outcomes are robust to variations in unknown
distribution of the level of tolerance in householders' population
