Born 1949 in Tel Aviv. Married to Ruth. Has three children: Limor,
Oren and Akkad, and three grandchildren: Dar, Yahav and Tav.

Since the academic year 1975/6 has been teaching at Tel Aviv University,
Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures, Department
of Semitic Linguistics, Department of Hebrew and Semitic Languages, Department
of Hebrew Culture Studies.

Culture Studies.
